Shirley's Poppyseed Dressing

  • 1 egg                           2 c corn oil
  • 1/4 c sugar                     3 T poppyseeds
  • 1 T dijon
  • 2/3 c red wine vinegar
  • 1/2 t salt
  • 3 T minced yellow onion

Combine everything but oil and seeds in food processor. Process 1 minute. With motor running slowly add oil. When oil is incorporated test seasonings. Stir in poppyseeds. Makes 1 qt. Refrigerate.
