- 2 med acorn squash
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- 2 cups unpeeled tart apple cubed
- ¾ cup cranberries
- ¼ cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons butter melted
- ¼ teaspoon cinnamon
- ⅛ teaspoon nutmeg
Cut and clean squash. Place upside down on baking sheet. Add 1 inch of water and bake for 30 minutes. Drain water from pan, turn squash right side up and sprinkle with salt. Combine other ingredients and spoon into squash. Bake 30-40 minutes or until squash is tender. Serves 4.
