Pecan Pie Cookies

  • 1 cup unsifted flour
  • ½ cup margarine
  • 3 oz cream cheese
  • 1 egg
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 6 tablespoons chopped pecans
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 teaspoon butter
  • 32 pecan halves

Mix first three ingredients. Shape into 32 balls. Indent with thumb. Freeze 15 min. Mix remaining ingredients except pecan halves. Put 1 t mixture in each cookie. Top with pecan half. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes.
