- ham, fully cooked
- pineapple slices, with juice
- brown sugar, one cup
- Sprite, or other lemon-lime soda, one can
Place the ham flat side down in a slow cooker (buy a ham that fits, or trim on top to fit).
Pour over the soda and the juice from the canned pineapple.
Scatter (and pat) half of the brown sugar all over the ham, coating evenly. Place the pineapple slices on top of the ham, securing with toothpicks if necessary, saving several for garnish. Cover the slow cooker and cook on low for 5-6 hours until the ham is heated through and tender based on your ham size. A spiral cut ham will reheat faster than an uncut ham. Baste halfway through. During the last 30 minutes of cooking sprinkle the remaining sugar. Transfer the ham to a platter and loosely tent with foil to rest for 10-15 minutes before slicing.
